Here at UpNorth MI Photography we thrive on capturing life moments and specialize in candid and posed portraiture photography. Our backdrop is gorgeous northern Michigan… Beaches, Lakes, Fields, Woodlands, Golf Courses, Ski Hills. We strive to make each album unique and beautiful by capturing memories in settings that are meaningful to you.

"I can not thank UpNorth Photography enough! You captured such an important day in our children's Rite into the Catholic Church. I didn't have to worry or stress about taking any pictures. I was able to be a mommy and a sponsor and enjoy the ceremony completely! Many, many, many thanks from the bottom of my heart!"

"Nancy, Erin, & Jessi were very accommodating and relaxed, which brought my own stress level down immediately (let's face it, taking pictures with 5 children isn't always easy!). They had picked out a beautiful spot which lent itself to different backdrops. Very low-key and natural with my children, getting true smiles and chatting with them the whole time. The baby (18 months) had woken up cranky from a nap, but they were soothing & gentle, & Jessi worked her magic with a bottle of bubbles that got smiles in no time. Very pleased with the pictures that were up on the website very quickly, and the ordering process is quite easy and economical. We've already booked a session with the entire extended family for Thanksgiving - can't wait!"
